Zelaya, joined Monday thousands of anti-coup
protesters, part of the national march to
get to San Pedro Sula on Tuesday.
Local radio stations reported that Honduras
First Lady is in the surrounding areas of
the department of Santa Barbara, on her way
towards the city of San Pedro Sula, the
second largest city in the country behind
the capital Tegucigalpa and located 155
miles north this capital.
Thousands of citizens have been carrying out
for days pacific walks, which will conclude
Tuesday in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula,
in demand of the return of Zelaya and in
favor of restoring the constitutional order.
The street demonstrations began from several
points and territories of the nation, like
the departments of Colon and Atlantida,
Choluteca, south; and Olancho east. |
