Oscar Arias
And Wife?
Costa Rican president, Oscar Arias,
accompanied by his girlfriend, Geovanna
Mendiola, Thursday night held a dinner at
the Teatro Nacional to honour the visit by
the president of Uruguay, Tabaré Vázquez.
Vázquez, in a brief conversation with the
couple before dinner, was overheard greeting
Arias and “su distinguida esposa" (his
distinguished wife).
Does Vázquez know something that the rest of
us don't. Are there wedding bells in the
air? And before Arias' term is up next May?
