Maribel Says "It's All Natural"
At the age of 48, former Miss Costa Rica, Maribel Guardia, declares that all she struts is natural. "I like things that you wear on your face so you can see more beautiful, but, I fear going under the knife", said Guardia.

"Surely one day I will do so, I will find the best surgeon, although it may be the most expensive", declares Guardia, who has won various awards for her work in multiple films in Mexico, in a film career that began in 1984 in such sex comedy films as “Macho que no ladra muerde”.

Maribel Fernández Guardia, born in May 29, 1960, she was elected Miss Costa Rica in 1978, going on to represent her birth country at the Miss World and Miss Universe contests. The contest had been held in Acapulco, and she received offers by Televisa producer Sergio Bustamante to develop a career there.

Guardia moved to Mexico in 1980; this move proved to be crucial for her show business career. In 1980, she appeared in her first television show, alongside Loco Valdés. Guardia went on to make multiple telenovelas (soap operas) and release a series of albums in the Norteña music genre.
