Mishelle Mitchell Out For Now
Costa Rican president, Oscar Arias, is now without a spokesperson, as Mishelle Mitchell has been left out, as the employment contract was not renewed.

Mitchell, was one 28 presidential consultants paid for by the Banco Centroamericano de Integración Economica (BCIE) - Central American Bank for Economic Integration.

Only the contracts of two of the 28 of the consultans - Asesores Legislativos de Costa Rica and Martha Blanco) - were renewed, according to information provided by Casa Presidencial.

The contracts expired on August 31.

For the time being Mitchell is staying home and is not known if she will continue as presidential spokesperson, receiving her pay directly from the government.

Mitchell said that for the time being she will advise the president only on "timely topics" and denied speculation that she will be part of the Laura Chinchilla presidential elections team.
