Panama Quake Felt in San José
An earthquake of 6.2 magnitude and depth of 25 kilometres struck Panama near the Costa Rican border 11 minutes after midnight Wednesday morning, that it was felt in most parts of Costa Rica including San José.

The quake was centred about 12 kilometres west of Armuelles, Panama.

No reports of damage or injuries were reported in Costa Rica or Panama.

The last quake felt in Costa Rica was on October 2, when at 4:36pm a 4.6 magnitude was felt in the areas of Cóbano, Esparza, Paquera, Jacó and the Central Valley. That quake was centred 7 km south of Cóbano.
