Pig Festival At The UCR
"Chanchos" or pigs are giving cows of the "cow parade" a run for attention as they have taken over the art and colour festival at the Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Costa Rica, where first year students showcased their talents.

The festival is an annual event in which paper an carton is used in preparing the art. However, this year, it was decided to use clay for the creation of the chanchos, taking advantage of the promotion that cow parade has contributed to urban art.

Some 120 chancos are on display, including some that use the personality of Bob Marley.
