Expotur 2008 Starts May
13
Expotur 2008, the annual
wholesale tourism trade
fair, is getting
ready to kick off for
May 13 to 15 to promote
Costa Rican travel
tourism.
The "Bolsa de
Comercialización
Turística de Costa Rica"
is held very year in May
and organized by the
COPROT (Asociación
Costarricense de
Profesionales en Turismo)
that groups 947 members
made up professionals
and representatives of
different areas of Costa
Rican tourism.
Expotur has been taking
place since 1985 and
this year more than 260
seliing firms from
Central America and
international tourism
wholesalers from Europe,
Asia, Latin America and
North America are
expected to attend.
This year, the president
and CEO of Tralliance
Corporation, Edward A.
Cespedes, will address
EXPOTUR 2008.
Buyers and sellers meet
during two days at the
Conference Centre at the
Ramada Plaza Herradura
Hotel through
appointments scheduled
beforehand, in order to
establish commercial
liaisons and to design
packages that will later
be offered through
travel agencies at their
respective countries.
