Bundle Up, It's Going To Be Cold Today
Before heading out today make sure to take along a jacket and an umbrella and bundle up at night, because it's going to be cold, as strong cold winds and showers continue over the Caribbean, the Northern Zone and the Central Valley (San José).

The cool winds began to blow on Monday.

Rebeca Morera, of the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN), explained that clouds, rain and cold winds will be the norm for today, most affected by the cold are the high elevation areas of Heredia, Cartago and San José, as the temperatures can hit as low as 12 Celsius.

Winds are expected to reach 60 Kph.

The cold snap is expected to continue into Thursday.
