A recent alliance between the Constitutionalist Liberal Party (PLC) and Vamos con Eduardo movement may be annulled by internal differences.

Eliseo Nunez, spokesman of Vamos con Eduardo, says the pact may be annulled if ex president and PLC leader Arnoldo Aleman insists on appointing judges to represent his party in the Supreme Election Council (CSE).

While the Eduardistas want their replacement to be the result of consensus when the term of the four CSE members ends, Aleman claims that the alliance does not include appointing cabinet offices.

Meanwhile, Nunez says that if both parties do not reach an agreement there is no reason to continue the alliance to challenge the government Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN).
