Drivers License Call Centre Overwhelmed With Calls
Better arm yourself with a lot of patience if you are looking for an appointment at the drivers license centre in San José.

Although the Consejo de Seguridad Vial (COSEVI) inaugurated its 'call cente' on Monday, in the first few hours of operation some 56.000 calls were received.

The call centre is being operated by Radiomensajes, located in Zapote, on behalf of Cosevi and during its first day of operation was overwhelmed by the number of calls.

According to Oscar Barahona, press agent for Radiomensajes, in what could only be termed as an understatement, not all calls could be answered on Monday.

The number to make an appointment for a driver license exam is 2206 7773. But don't be too surprised if your call goes unanswered or you are put on hold indefinitely.
