Cold Front To Grip The Central Valley And Caribbean
The Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) - national weather service - is calling for cold, strong winds and drizzle for the weekend, as an atmospheric phenomenon from the north drives cold winds over the Central Valley and the Caribbean.

Metereologist, Evelyn Quirós, explained that cold front will also bring with it light rain, especially in the mountainous areas of the Central Valley, primarily in Moravia, Coronado, Heredia and Cartago.

Quirós added that there will be sunny spots intermixed with the clouds and rain and that the heaviest downpours will be in the Caribbean coast.

While the cold embraces the Central Valley and the Caribbean, the Pacific coasts will be sunny and hot, though it may experience some rain in the afternoon.
