Fiorella, the conjoined twin separated last November at the Lucile Packard de Palo Alto, California, is making an amazing recovery, she is already walking alone, meanwhile her sister Yurelia is recuperating at a slower pace.

With the help of he mother, María Arias and her older sister, 14 year old Cinthya, Yurelia is begging to take small steps and tries to stand by herself.

Fiorella and Yurelia are scheduled to return home to Costa Rica this week as doctors at the Lucille Packard are satisfied with the recovery.

In an interview with the Spanish daily Al Día, María thanked all Costa Ricans for their prayers and said she misses her family very much. María did not say the exact date she and the twins will be returning to Costa Rica, saying only in a few days.

"Cookie mine", "Hi" and "Cat" are some of the words spoken by the two toddlers who are demonstrating a quick grasp of the English language and "Where is Yurelia?" as Fiorella asks for her sister.

María says that it has all been an unforgettable experience and said she is hoping the continued support of Costa Ricans for move forward when they return home.

María has said that she will be seeking the help of the Costa Rican and Nicaraguan governments to help her family face the future. Although the twins were born in Costa Rica, María and her husband are Nicaraguan nationals.
