Vacationers Head For Home Today
The big rush home is today, as thousands of vacationers head home after enjoying their holidays at the beaches, mountains, resorts, etc.

Traffic flow yesterday was normal, no unusual movements, according to the Policía de Tránsito who expect today's rush to be a nightmare, as vacationers left the trip home to the last minute.

For that, the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) and the Policía de Tránsito are in full alert today.

The San Ramón - Alajueal route is expected to be the busiest.

For the Policía de Tránsito, the area around the Juan Santamaría airport will be the busiest, especially after 1:00pm.

The Policía de Tránsito says that attempt to respond to collisions quickly in an effort to move the vehicles off the road as soon as possible to avoid congestions and will have additional units to divert heavy traffic to avoid bottlenecks.
