Venezuela to Announce
Economic Policy
The Venezuelan
government is sparing no
efforts to prepare this
year's economic,
monetary, and tax policy
which will be announced
soon, Planning and
Development Minister
Haiman El Troudi
affirmed Sunday.
The government official
said at the Jose Vicente
Hoy TV show, the plan is
well articulated, and
will allow increasing
confidence in the
national economy, and
boost domestic
production.
He said there will be a
clear, forthright
dialogue, without fear
of recognizing mistakes,
thus enabling to jointly
organize the economic,
social agenda the
country needs.
Despite the complex
international panorama,
Venezuela has dynamic
economic growth,
corroborated in the 8.4
percent increase
achieved in 2007. |
