International Companies Looking For 5.000 Bilingual Employees
For those who are fluent in English primarily and are handy with a computer, there is a job waiting for them, as various international companies are looking for personnel over the coming weeks.

Beginning today, applications and interviews will be taken at the Datascenion, whose office is located in the Mall San Pedro, who is looking for 1.400 employees over the age of 15. The hiring process includes a telephone interview with prospective employers in the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.

Marianita Mora, recruiting agent for Datascension, said that they will be taking applications and holding interviews today and tomorrow between 9:00am and 9:00pm.

The successful applications will be offered a 10 day paid training program after which they could be offered a permanent position.

The jobs being posted pay between s$3.75 and us$6 per hour and both part time and full time employment is being offered.

On March 7, 8, and 9, the Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo (CINDE) will be holding the "IV Feria Bilingüe" (fourth bilingual job fair) at the Centro Nacional de Cultura in San José.

Companies like Intel, Procter and Gamble, IBM, DHL, HP, Sykes and Oracle will all be present to recruit bilingual employees who have a degree in administration, accounting, computer programming, electronics engineering, industrial systems, software development, customer service and technical support among other job offers.

The companies at the Feria Bilingüe will be recruiting employees with fluency in a second language, primarily English, but applications fluent in French, Portuguese, Italian, German and Chinese are also being sought.
