Wanted Tico Minister Arrested in New Jersey
Alberto Solano Cárdenas, wanted in Costa Rica for sexual abuse of a minor, was detained by the international police organization, INTERPOL, in New Jersey, USA, and placed in the hands of the US immigration service for deportation to Costa Rica.

The 52 year old, an Evangelical minister, was wanted for abuses committed in 1999 while he was minister of an evangelical church in Costa Rica.

The Juzgado Penal de Puntarenas issued an arrest warrant for Solano, a warrant that is valid in some 186 countries.
