A pair of Silverthorne companies, its owner and the Minnesota firms it represented in wooing investors to questionable waterfront development deals in Costa Rica have agreed to stop selling in Colorado, state securities officials said Thursday.

Robert Priest and his companies, Bob Priest Financial Inc. and Real IRA Inc., sold investments in Loring Freshwater Fund LP USA and Loring Blue Water Views, both of Minneapolis, which state officials said violated various securities laws, including the need to be registered.
