Nicaragua Supports Iran's Right For Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy
Nicaragua's new ambassador to Tehran J. Castrio said Saturday that Nicaraguan government supports Iran's right for peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Castrio, submitting a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, said he is happy with his presence in Iran as representative of Nicaragua.

He said his country is in need of using Iranian companies' technical and engineering experiences, especially in the field of power plant construction and energy.

Mottaki for his part said Iranian and Nicaraguan officials share stances for all-out expansion of relations.

He said that a new chapter has begun in Iran-Nicaragua relations and on the same basis, delegations in different levels from the two countries have exchanged visits over the past one year.

Iran's top diplomat said Iran is willing to have cooperation with Nicaragua in trade, investment and other economic domains.

He hoped that bilateral ties will further expand once development projects, undertaken by the two sides, especially construction of power plants in Nicaragua are commissioned by Iranian companies.
