Policía de Tránsito In Full Force For Return Home Today and Back to School Tomorrow
Starting at 10:00am, the San José- Alajuela, San Ramón, Barranca and Orotina and route 32 will be focus of an intensive campaign by the Policía de Tránsito, according to its director, Germán Marín, as vacationers return home.

Marín said that his officers will be out there with radar to control speeding and a number of motorcycle patrols at major points to control reckless driving and passing.

The Tránsito director added that all his officers will be on duty for the next 24 hours, in two shifts, the biggest number in the 10:00am to 9:00pm shift, to control traffic and reduce the number of accidents and fatalities.

"Come tomorrow, we begin another job, the beginning of the school year, ensuring a safe back to school and once the children are in school, the officers will resume their patrol work", said Marín.
