Twins Must Wait Two Weeks Before Going Home
Formerly conjoined twins, Yurelia and Fiorella, although are now in Costa Rica must wait two weeks more before going their home in Alajuelita, as doctors recommended the wait as their brother Luis is ill with Varicela.  The twins will be spending the next two weeks in a San José hotel.

Allegro Papagayo Must Evict Guests
The hotel Allegro Papagayo must close its doors to new guests, according to the ministra de Salud, María Luisa Avila and is allowing the hotel to slowly remove its current guests over the coming days. The hotel has been found dumping waste water directly into the local water, after residents complained of foul smells.

Avila said that the waste problem is not big but has been going on for years and the hotel must clean up its act before it can re-open. The hotel was at 98% capacity when Salud officials began their action of removing the 600 or so guests at the hotel.

97.992 GSM Lines Still To Be Activated
For those looking for a new GSM line, Monday could be their day, as the cut off date for the reserved lines is Saturday, where those who have a line reserved must either connect or lose their line. According to ICE there are, as of yesterday, still 97.992 lines that have yet to be activated.

Elberth Durán, a spokesperson for ICE, said that the lines not activated by closing on Saturday will be available to the public on Monday.
 
 


Guests at the Allegro Papagagyo must find other accommodations as the ministerio de Salud shuts down hotel operations.
