Nine People Die in Panama's Carnival Celebrations
Nine people have died in the first three days of Panama's annual carnival celebrations, police said Monday.

Four people died in a car accident when they drove from the capital city to provincial areas for the revelry.

Two young people were drowned while swimming off a beach, a seven year-old child was washed away in a river and two more people were murdered, police said.

A total of 15,000 police have been deployed to maintain public order during the five days of revelry beginning last Friday. portance of change to build a democratic model full of justice, inclusion and equality.
