No Water Rationing This Summer, Says the AyA
Good news from the Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA) - water and sewer utility: there will be no water rationing this summer.

The news was given yesterday by the president of the AyA, Ricardo Sancho Chavarría, who said there is no foreseen water rationing during the coming months of summer.

And, for the first time in five years, the areas of Manuel Antonio and Playas de Coco, will not have any water problems, as the supply of fresh water is plenty.

Sancho, however, added that there could be some communities that will be affected by a water shortage, areas like Barbacoas de Puriscal, Siquirres, Pococí, Cahuita, Liberia, Santa Cruz, Cóbano and Buenos Aires, were water levels in the holding tanks has been dropping.
