Protest For Peace
Looking for justice, family members and friends of victims of crime marched together for peace on Saturday. Parents who lost a child and those who lost a brother, sister, husband, wife and friend all gathered in a shared pain.

The group not only lost a loved one, but lost their peace to the hands of criminals and marched to pressure legislators for changes in the penal code.

Leaders of the group said that although the government announced plans to combat crime, it is not enough and will not rest until the killings on the streets come to an end.

The protest was held in the Plaza de la Justicia in downtown San José
