Commuter Train Involved in Two Collisions;  17 Injured
A collision between the Tren Urbano (commuter train) and a San Pedro bound bus left 14 people injured yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

The accident occurred near the Universidad Latina (Ulatina) in San Pedro de Mondes de Oca.

According to the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) of the 14 injured only 8 required to be taken to hospital.

The bus was carrying 40 passengers at the time.

In an unrelated early morning accident, the commuter train slammed into a passenger vehicle in the early hours of this morning (Thursday). Three people were injured in the collision, however, none required medical attention.
