European Delegation To Visit Costa Rica
A delegation of the European Parliament is expected to visit later this week on strengthening ties between the European Union and Costa Rica, according to a statement by the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto de Costa Rica, Costa Rica's Foreign Ministry.

The visit comes following talks between the European Union and Central America last week in a first round negotiations on a trade deal between the two regions.

The Europeans are expected to arrive tomorrow (Wednesday) and being their stay with a breakfast of the Costa Rican ambassadors of the countries belonging to the European Union.

The Europeans will be met by Costa Rica's vice-president, Laura Chinchilla and then meet with Legislative Assembly president, Francisco Antonio Pacheco and the leaders of the political party members of the legislature and foreign trade commissions.

The European delegation include representatives from Spain, Slovakia, Portugal and Poland.
