Voters With Expired Cedulas Can Vote, TSE Says
The Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE) says that voters with expired "cedulas" can vote in Sundays referendum as long as the expiration does not go beyond three months.

Héctor Fernández, coordinador of the "Procesos Electorales", explained that cedulas expired before August cannot be used to vote and a new one is required.

And for that the TSE has extended its hours of operation, opening from 7:00am to 5:00pm until Saturday and from 6:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday, to allow voters to get their cedula so that they can vote.
