Not All Thieves Use Their Head Well During A Robbery
A man, who was attempting to rob a house in the Hatillo on Friday got off scott free after he got his head stuck in the fence and the owner did not press charges.

Police and firefighters were called in to free Carlos Retana Vega, who according to neighbours, is a thorn on their side breaking into neighbourhood houses, had to use hydraulic equipment to free the man. Neighbours told police this is not the first time the man got stuck while in the middle of a robbery.

However, not all thieves are as lucky as Vega.

Over the years more than one thief has been stuck while trying to get away from the scene of the crime and resulted in injury and death getting stuck in razor wire or electrocuted by electrified wire across the top of fences.

In other cases, a number of thieves have been caught red handed as their timing was off being spotted by police patrols. In one instance some years back a man was beaten to almost to death by angry neighbours.

Yesterday's situation goes to show that not all thieves use their head well during a robbery.
