Central America Left Networks in Nicaragua
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and leftwing-party representatives from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras met in Managua to analyze the Central American panorama from the regional people s movement perspective.

A Sandinista source revealed on Friday the meeting was held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jacinto Suarez, responsible for international relations in the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) told Prensa Latina this meeting was special because it was the first they held after Ortega s inauguration on January 10, and the recent tour by US President George W. Bush of Latin America.

Revolutionary leaders of Salvadorian Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front and the Nueva Nacion Alliance, and the Guatemalan Revolutionary National Unity participated in the meeting.
