Quintuplets Born at Calderón Guardia
Nancy Rodríguez Aguirre and Gener Guzmán Coto, are the proud parents of quintuplets born yesterday at the Hospital Calderón Guardia in San José.

Isaac, Dereck, Samuel, Raquel and Adriana, were delivered by caesarian section after 31 weeks gestation and were doing fine, drinking mother's milk, doctors at the neonatal unit of the hospital reported.

This is the first quintuplets to be born at the Calderón Guardia.

The couple had been trying to conceive for some 12 years, that included fertility treatment, the pregnancy was a result of artificial insemination.
