Wal-Mart Looking To Fill 700
Jobs
Good news for those looking for
work, Wal-Mart is ready to open
its first store in Escazú, has
announced that it will be
requiring to fill 700 jobs.
Wal-Mart executives arrived in
Costa Rica Friday night and will
be holding a job fair today
(Sunday) at the Metrocentro in
Cartago.
The 700 positions are to fill
vacancies in two superstores,
one in Escazú, which is expected
to open in May and another
Cartago.
Wal-Mart in Costa Rica operates
the Hipermás chain of department
stores, as well as the Mas X
Menos, Palí and Maxi Bodegas
supermarkets in the country.
The Escazú store will be the
first to be modeled after the
Wal-Mart formula of stores
around the world and to have the
Wal-Mart name on the outside.
