Salvadorian Eldest Woman Dies
El Salvador most longevous woman, Cruz Hernandez of 128 years old, concluded her funeral rites on Saturday in San Agustin cemetery, at 60.89 miles east of the capital.

Doña Cruz, as she was called, was the world eldest woman, she had 13 children, 60 grandsons, 80 great-grandsons, 25 great-great-grandsons that make up a total of over 200 relatives.

San Agustin residents respected her much because she helped many of them to deliver until she arrived to her 100 years old.

The population celebrated every of her birthdays with a mass at the urban church.

Cruz was born on May 3 1878, according to the information given by the Natural People National Register, which officially granted her the Unique Identity Document, on September 2005.
