Bush to host Brazilian president
in Camp David
U.S. President George W. Bush
will welcome President Luiz
Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil
to Camp David on March 31, the
White House said in a statement
on Friday.
"The president looks forward to
exploring ways to deepen the
U.S.-Brazil relationship with
President Lula, including
working together to strengthen
democracy and international
economic cooperation and to
develop alternative energy
sources," the statement said.
Bush will embark on a visit to
Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala,
Columbia and Uruguay from March
8-14 and he is expected to visit
Sao Paulo, Brazil on March 9.
