Banco de Costa Rica First With "Banco Infantil"
The Banco de Costa Rica (BCR) has decided to start building their customer loyalty from a young age, opening the first "Banco Infantil" (children's bank) in the country.

The branch is located on the first floor of the bank's central offices in downtown San José and designed exclusively for used by children.

The bank allows children to open an account in their name, with the consent of the parents, and have a branch where, accompanied by their parents, can deposit and withdraw funds from their own account, as well as pay for utilities and other services.

The branch is designed with children in mind and their first banking experience.

The children can also use their special bank card to make purchases at retail stores.
