Zaugate To Marry His Princess
Social differences don't matter when cupid strikes and this applies to people as well as dogs, evidenced by the romance between a "zaguate" - the Spanish term for a mutt - and a princess.

Ringo and Princesa, a schnauzer, met about a year ago during a dog fair and thanks to a developing friendship between their owners, the pair could continue to see each other.

The friendshiop between Rindo and Princesa has gotten so deep that the two will be tying the knot come next month. Princesa has agreed to move and live with Ringo in a nice home in Heredia and will be taking a trip to Germany as part of the their honeymoon, the schnauzers country of origin.

The information of the upcoming wedding and their plans is detailed in this month's issue of Pets y Más magazine, who are also organizing the event, according to Karina Nuñez of the magazine.

The wedding is not exclusive to the two dogs, but to all dogs and cats and any other animal who wishes to attend, with or without their owners.

The event is for the children, explains Karina, who will be able to witness the first marriage of two dogs in the history of Costa Rica, that will be held at the Centro Comercial del Sur, on the south side of San José.
