Highway Still Uncertain, Only A Dream For Many
Three decades later, the construction of the new
highway that would reduce the trip between San
José and Caldera to in less than one hour
instead of the almost two hours it takes now, is
still ongoing and its completion is yet a
certainty.

Rain Washes Away Portion of General Cañas
The
heavy rain of yesterday afternoon collapsed a
drain ditch and the retaining wall as raging
waters gushed onto the General Cañas, the
country's busiest highway, damaging some 25
metres of road surface, shutting down two of the
three lanes on the highway between Alajuela and
San José.
BCR To
Start Issuing Drivers Licenses This Week
Beginning on Thursday, the Banco de Costa Rica (BCR)
will be issuing driver licensing at ten of its
