TLC Document Will Be Available
For Sale
To ensure that all Costa Ricans
are fully aware of the contents
of the Tratado de Libre Comercio
(TLC)- free trade agreement with
the United States - the Imprenta
Nacional (national printer) is
making the entire trade ageement
available to the public.
The document, which is required
to be published before it can be
discussed in the Legislative
Assembly, is made up of 32
booklets of 120 pages each and
costs the country ˘119.6 million
colones (us$232.000) to print.
The entire volume is available
for purchase at ˘9.000 colones
(us$17.50) beginning next week.
The volume is a product of the
discussion of the Comisión de
Relaciones Internacionales y
Comercio Exterior.
