Central Americans Debate
Migration
Migration authorities from
Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala
and Nicaragua will examine
possible solutions to the
immigration problem expanding
throughout the region.
A top issue at the meeting will
be the Single Central American
Visa, aimed at making possible
free movement of people among
the participating countries.
Migration directors also expect
to progress in integration
policies directed to facilitate
migration alerts through
information exchange, reported
El Heraldo newspaper.
The daily also noted the meeting
will last until Friday and
include representatives from
Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, and
Dominican Republic.
