Vehicle Registrations More Than Double
If there seems to be more cars on the roads today, it is because there are.

According to the Registro Nacional, who is asking for more patience and time for the registration of vehicles, the registrations for new cars and motorcycles has more than doubled in the last several months.

The Registro says that it is currently registering between 400 and 600 new cars daily, while the number of number of motorcycle registrations have doubled in the last four months.

The Cámara Costarricense Automotriz (the Costa Rican automotive chamber) says that the increase does not agree with the current road maintenance and will only get worse with more vehicles on the road each day.
