Iran Invests in Nicaragua
Nicaragua and Iran have moved towards the strengthening of their bilateral ties with the signing of several cooperation agreements in the economic, energy, trade, financial, infrastructure and technical fields.

Sunday, presidents Daniel Ortega and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad clinched the conventions, which will be long-term investments to benefit all Nicaraguans.

Ahmadinejad fulfilled a brief visit to Managua from Venezuela, as part of his Latin American tour aimed at fostering relations with the region.

The Iranian cooperation includes the construction of hydro-electric dams and houses, development of the fishing industry plus the production and export of agriculture machines, cars, buses and bicycles.

Likewise, Teheran will aid Managua in the installation of cement factories and in the technical education.
