Buys Contact Centre
Privately held technical support
and customer service outsourcing
company Stream has bought Supra
Telecom's contact center in
Costa Rica.
A spokeswoman for
Richardson-based Stream said the
company will keep some of the
employees at the centre in San
José, and will also hire new
workers.
Stream has 27 contact centres
and 13,000 employees worldwide,
said Katherin Dockerill, a
spokeswoman for Stream.
Financial terms of the deal were
not disclosed.
The Costa Rica facility will
provide English and
Spanish-language support for
Stream's clients in North
America, Latin America and
Spain, the company said.
"The acquisition of this
facility in San José is a
logical step in Stream's
strategic plan for growth,"
Stream CEO and President Toni
Portmann said in a statement
Thursday.
