Most Nicaraguans Trust Daniel

A poll by M y R Consultores
company disclosed on Monday that
67.1 percent of the Nicaraguan
population is confident the
nation will prosper with the
government of Sandinista leader
Daniel Ortega.
Only 19 percent of those
surveyed have a contrary opinion
while 13.8 percent did not
answer the question.
According to the study, taken
Dec 21-28 among 1,800 people,
64.6 percent expressed hope with
the return of Sandinism to
power.
In addition, it showed that 57.9
percent of the Nicaraguans
sympathize with Ortega compared
to 36.3 that reject him.
