Lack of Paraguayan Diplomatic Image Deplored
President of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Higher Chamber, Senator Alfredo Ratti, Thursday denounced the limited diplomatic image of Paraguay, due to the absence of Paraguayan ambassadors in important countries of the world.

This country cannot afford being without diplomatic representatives in important countries like Argentina, Uruguay and Spain, Ratti confirmed, putting the blame on Nicanor Duarte´s government.

According to Ratti, there is information from the Foreign Affairs Ministry to present some candidatures on March, 2007, with the purpose of occupying diplomatic venues like Spain and Korea.
