Fidel Castro Book Sells Out in
Cuba
The book "One Hundred Hours with
Fidel," by French journalist
Ignacio Ramonet, has been
successful sold in the first
phase of the 16th International
Book Fair, to conclude in the
capital on Sunday.
Yamilet Rodriguez, chief of "Editora
Abril" stand, said that copies
of that historical interview use
to sell out early in the
morning.
"Readers tell us they have had
references of the book, and talk
of unpublished passages of
Fidel's life never revealed so
far," she stated.
"The work," Rodriguez noted, "is
sold out not only as a book but
also as a tabloid format, the
latter of great attraction for
gathering a series of questions
Ramonet made for the French
edition."
"One Hundred Hours with Fidel,"
launched in Paris, Spain,
Guadalajara and other important
cities, is included in the Cuban
issue of the battle of ideas, to
face up misinformation and
calumny by larger media on the
island's Revolution.
