Bolivia MAS Greets Rigoberta Menchu
The Bolivian Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) sent a message to indigenous leader and Peace Nobel Prize winner Rigoberta Menchu, welcoming the efforts started to run for president in Guatemala.

"Rigoberta is an honorable woman and a fighter against neoliberalism," said the letter read by MAS Vice president Alvaro Garcia, during an indigenous meeting held in this capital.

Garcia also sent regards by Bolivian President Evo Morales, who is invited to participate in the continental summit of the indigenous peoples in Guatemala.

Rigoberta Menchu and her Winaq movement met with representatives of the country´s 23 linguistic groups to explain her project to them, to create a political party.
