French Trade Mission
A delegation of 21 businessmen belonging to the French Business Movement, the largest organization of its kind in France, visited Costa Rica in order to asses opportunities for investment, and the state of infrastructure and development.

The delegation had representatives of the construction, infrastructure, transportation, water, engineering, banking, telecommunications, power, and the environment sectors.

The chairlady of the Movement for Central America, Gilberte Beaux, said that one of the companies presented a plan to build a 1.8-kilometer long, 3-meter wide tunnel to channel the San Jose water. This project would cost us$100 million.

Another project is a streetcar system for San José, she added.
