Power Cuts To West End  Announced For Sunday
The Compañia Nacional de Fuerza Y Luz (CNFL), announced that it will be cutting power to various areas of San José, during 7:30am and 4:00pm on Sunday, 18 February.

Power will be cut to many areas of the west end surrounging La Sabana and includes areas of Pavas, Rohormoser and Paseo Colon.

The power cut will affect area restaurants, hotels, banks and businesses as well as residential homes.

For a complete list of the affected areas, the CNFL has compiled a detailed list that is available at: http://www.cnfl.go.cr/portal/page?_pageid=35,49051,35_105588&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL

For unknown reasons, the following buildings are included in the list of unaffected though they are within the suspension areas, namely, Burger King (Sabana), Oscar Arias' (the president) houseand the main office building of the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad  (ICE).
