35.000 Bulbs Light Hospital de Niños Christmas Tree
Last night the annual tradition of lighting the Christmas tree in front of the Hospital de Niños took place, bringing a smile to the faces of the children in hospital, some who are able to walk up close, while others looked on from their hospital room window.

This is the 43rd annual lighting of the Christmas tree. The current gigantic tree that needed 35.000 light bulds to illuminate was planted 16 years ago, so that the hospital could have its very own tree. For many years before, a tree was brought in from Coronado.

The event was filled with music, lights and clowns and forms part of the Christmas season activities in San José.
