San José Abandoned by
Municipality
Downtown San José on the Avenida
Central (Bulevar) between 3:00pm
and 4:00pm Friday 06 April.
Only five police officials of
the Policía Turistica were
spotted and not one member of
the Policía Municipal (municipal
police) were on hand to patrol
the streets filled with
tourists.
In addition, the streets have
not been cleaned since
Wednesday, and one
Policía Turistica told us it
would be like that until Monday
when municipal workers are back
on the job.
We doubt that San José mayor,
Johnny Araya and other San José
"regidores" stayed in San José
