Canadian Immigration Use Children As "Fish Hooks" To Detain Illegal Ticos
This morning's headline in Costa Rica's daily Spanish language newspapers tells of the story of how the Canadian Immigration service is using a couple's children as hooks in an unusual move designed to net an illegal immigrant couple, immigration officials in Toronto went to a school and threatened to take away two young sisters if their parents didn't turn themselves in.
