service is using a couple's
children as hooks in an unusual
move designed to net an illegal
immigrant couple, immigration
officials in Toronto went to a
school and threatened to take
away two young sisters if their
parents didn't turn themselves
in.

A report in the Spanish daily
newspaper La Nación says that
the Policía de Tránsito patrol
the nation's highways on foot,
since six out of every ten
patrol cars are in the shop with
some problem or other.
