Gasoline Goes Up Tomorrow
Be sure to fill the gasoline tank today, because as of midnight tonight, the price goes up at the pumps.

The price increase was approved by the Autoridad Reguladora de Servicios Públicos (ARESEP) last week and published in the official government publication, La Gaceta, today.

The price of a litre of super gasoline will jump from today's price of ¢463 to ¢475, regular will go from ¢440 to ¢453 an diesel from ¢313 to ¢326.

What the increase means is it will cost ¢21.375 colones to fill a 45 litre gasoline tank with super tomorrow, ¢537 colones more.

This is the third increase this year. At the beginning of the year, a litre of super cost ¢422, regular ¢402 and diesel ¢303.
